Ana Vidaurre, the editor and publisher of this site, lives in Burbank, California, a small city about 30 minutes North of Los Angeles. Because Ana had been wearing eyeglasses since childhood, her eyeglass prescription power and thickness had to be increased over the years. Right before her eyeglasses became unsightly thick, she deliverately "lost" them forever. She traded her eyeglasses for her first pair of hard contact lenses 27 years ago and a few years later, when hard lenses were upgraded to gas permeables, she switched to gas permeable for a few years. She now enjoys the convenience of soft disposables, but soon she'll have to wear multifocals.

Since Ana has been wearing contacts over many years without any problems, and her looks improved once she got rid of her heavy glasses, she decided to launch this website for people who are hesitant or afraid to wear contact lenses. She thinks looking good makes you feel good, and wishes you feel as great as you look with your new contacts. She hopes this information helps you.
